- The Ohio Swiss Festival in Sugarcreek, Ohio, took place on September 26th-29th, 2007. The event featured traditional music, vendors, cheese and wine judging, Swiss festival queen contest, swiss festival parade, Alpine horn players, Swiss Miss contest, Swiss costumes, stein stossen (rock throwing), rides, games, dancing and more. - Woosterfest took place this past September, 28th and 29th, 2007 on the square of downtown Wooster, Ohio. The event featured a beauty pageant, wine tasting from Troutman Vineyards, food vendors, keg races, bands, 5k and 10k races and more. Click here to order pictures from this event.
- The 2007 Wayne County Chili Cook-off was held at the Church of the Cross, United Methodist church in Wooster, Ohio. The cook-off was a benefit that donated its proceeds to under funded Wayne County Children Services programs. Thirteen contestants cooked up their versions of chili perfection for a crowd and a panel of judges alike. The chili was judged on the following criteria, color, taste, aroma, consistency and bite (aftertaste or burn included).
